Debbie Dian Tyler, age 64, passed away July 4, 2021, in Odessa, TX.
She was born on January 7, 1957, to Raymond L. Reeves and Wanda L. Yeager. On December 31,1977 she married Jerry D. Tyler. Their eternal love led them to 44 years of marriage. Debbie touched many people’s hearts in her lifetime and was a mother figure to anyone who would accept her love. Her whole world revolved around her two daughters and their children. Debbie was an amazing Mother, Grandmother and Wife. She loved every aspect of being a grandmother, from the very first moment she found out she was having her 1st grandbaby, she was in Love. She always said if she could have figured out how to bypass the children and skip straight to the grandchildren she would. She was very active in their lives, and the sight of her spirit lighting up every time she was able to wrap her arms around them was priceless.
Another joy in life for Debbie was to cook, the more people she could feed the better. She put her whole heart and soul into every meal she made. She especially enjoyed having her family together for any occasion to enjoy her cooking.
Her favorite holidays consisted of the 4th of July and Christmas. She would tirelessly plan a menu, then proceed to buy out the whole store in order to have her annual 4th of July cookout. This consisted of packing up her BBQ pit and setting up shop downtown for the City of Odessa firework celebration. She made sure she was there bright and early to get the best seats in the house which were directly across the street from where the fireworks would be set off. And there was no such thing as too many Christmas lights. She would put so many lights on her house it looked like a landing strip.
She is preceded in death by her father, Raymond L. Reeves; brothers, Donald R. Reeves, and Ronald L. Reeves; and grandson, Liam R. Peevy.
She is survived by her husband Jerry D. Tyler, daughters, Stephanie Frady and husband Tommy Frady, and Melissa Peevy, grandchildren, Sayde Peevy, Melody Frady, Hailey Peevy, Hannah Frady, and Elena Frady; mother Wanda L. Yeager and husband James V. Yeager.
