Delva Jacobo

Delva Jacobo, age 66, passed away on February 28, 2024, in Odessa, Tx.

Visitation will be from 5 PM to 8 PM, Monday, March 4, 2024, with Rosary held at 6:00 PM at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 5, 2024, at 10:00 AM at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton with Deacon Gary Brooks of St. Elizabeth officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Delva was born in Odessa, Tx to Norma and Felix Ybarra on August 6,1957. She worked as a receptionist at Odessa College for over 15 years. She was the best mother, grandmother, sister, tia, and friend. She had the biggest heart and was loved by many. She loved cooking and baking. She was especially known for her delicious menudo and bizcocho cookies.

Delva is preceded in death by her mother Norma Ybarra, and father Felix Ybarra.

Delva is survived by her four children, Stephani Juarez and husband Daniel, daughter Christina Jacobo, her sons Nathaniel and JoeAngel Jacobo, her sister Diana Gamboa and husband Adam, her brother Ruben Ybarra and wife Phyllis, sister Mary Hernandez and husband Joel, grandchildren Nevaeh and Madison Juarez, Zachariah and Johnathan Uribe, and many nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers will be Nathan, JoeAngel, Isacc, Eli, David and Isaiah.
