Dolores Irene Hobson of Odessa, Texas, has been refreshed, restored and renewed and went home to be with her Lord and Savior December 28, 2018.
Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM on Sunday, December 30, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
Graveside service will be at 1:00 PM on Monday, December 31, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Dolores was born to Frank Galle and Lucille Galle on October 22, 1932, in Plata, Texas. She went to school in Andrews, Texas, and Jal, New Mexico, where
she graduated. She married Gerald Don Hobson on February 24, 1951, in Lovington, New Mexico. Beginning in 1969 she worked for Sears Roebuck for
over 20 years in the teletype department through many positions including assistant manager at Hobbs, New Mexico. Dolores later worked for the bank
and the hospital in Crane Texas. After retiring she served as a Pink Lady for Medical Center Hospital. Dolores was also a member of the Eastern Star Lodge,
Goldsmith Chapter 854, Goldsmith, Texas.
Dolores is preceded in death by father Frank Galle and mother Lucille Lindsey, Husband Gerald Don Hobson of 49 years, and husband Truman Solomon
of 4 years, as well as her stepfather Bill Lindsey and brother William Terry Lindsey.
She is survived by her stepmother Eddie Galle of New Mexico, Son Michael Don Hobson of San Angelo, Texas, Son Franklin Dale Hobson and wife
Brenda Hobson of Odessa, Texas, Sister Elaine Berry and husband Earl Berry of San Angelo, Texas, as well as eight grandchildren, thirteen great
grandchildren and the nieces, nephews and step grandchildren.
