Dolores Lancaster

Dolores Lancaster, age 87, of Odessa, TX, went to be with her Lord on July 31, 2018 in Odessa.

Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 PM, Friday, August 3, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 AM, Saturday, August 4, 2018 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Verl Gunter officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Dolores was born February 26, 1931 to John Chaney and Lillie (McClure) Chaney in Colorado City, TX. She married Billy Lancaster on July 3, 1947. She was a homemaker and an Avon Representative for numerous years.

Dolores attended Southwest Baptist Church in Odessa. She enjoyed spending time with her church family.

Dolores is preceded in death by her loving husband, Billy Lancaster; her grandson, Chad Lancaster; two sisters, Dorothy Chaney and Helen Scarborough and her brother, Merle Chaney.

She is survived by her children, Dale Lancaster and his wife, Joan, Pam Hodnett and her husband, Darrell; grandchildren, Brian Hodnett and his wife, Hilary, Kevin Hodnett, Terry Lancaster, Billy Church, Rachel Carney; eleven great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews and many lifelong friends.
