Don Bilbrey, 70, of Odessa, passed away on Saturday, July 12, 2003, at Medical Center Hospital in Odessa. Services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 16, 2003, at Sunset Memorial Chapel. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Mr. Bilbrey was born on April 17, 1933, in Wilburton, Ok., to Rufus Edward Bilbrey and Fannie Marie Morgan. He married Ann Collom on April 5, 1955, in Peacock, Texas. They moved to Odessa in 1963, where he worked as a truck driver for Trey Trucks for 17 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents: brothers Charles and Harry Bilbrey: a sister, Bertie Pauline Randolph; two grandsons, Jack Daniel Everhart and Shaun Todd Guyett; and a son-in-law Earl Tipton.
He is survived by; his wife, Ann of Odessa; two sons, Jackey Don Bilbrey and Roger Dale Bilbrey of Odessa; four daughters, Connie Lee Everhart, Dorothy Ann Tipton, Mary Jean Bilbrey, and Deborah Louise Register, all of Odessa; seven grandsons, John David Everhart, Ricky Don Tipton, Dusty Ray Guyett, Zachary Ryan Bilbrey, and Eric Shae Bilbrey; three granddaughters, Sherry Annett Whitehurst, Lisa Ann Robinson and Tanya Renee Ornelas; two great-grandsons; six great-granddaughters; a brother, Clarance Bilbrey of Lake Jackson, Texas; and a sister, Dorothy Mae Schraeder of Odessa.
Pallbearers will be: Carl Dismuke, John Crawford, Lewis Chandler, Lance Novak, Zack Bailey and David Tipton.
