Don Krall

Don Leo Krall Doc 80, passed away peacefully on December 9, 2010 in Odessa, TX. He was born March 19, 1930 in Houston, TX to Leo William and Josie Krall.

Don graduated from the University Of Texas School Of Dentistry in 1956. He served as an Army Captain in Korea as a dentist in 195759. Afterward he moved to Odessa and opened a private dental practice which he maintained until 2004. He loved riding motorcycles on Texas country roads, especially with close friend and neighbor, Jim Nay and fishing and traveling.

Don was preceded in death by his wife of 43 years, Abye Joe Krall in 2007, his cousin, Dan Kriszcziokaitis widow Marie and many other cousins and dear friends.

Don is survived by his cousins Dan Kral Carole, Shirley Tweten John and Leonora Mattio Mercks.

Special thanks to a friend from Mexico, Arturo who made a trip to Odessa in Dons last week of life and to Comfort Keepers who loved and cared for Don in his last two years. Don had a terrific sense of humor with a contagious smile. He will be deeply missed and will live on in the hearts of many.

A service will be held at Sunset Funeral Home on Tuesday, December 21, 2010 at 1:00 pm with Larry Hood officiating and burial with military honors with VFW Post 4372 to follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 6:00 pm on Monday, December 20, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home.
