Don White

Don DaddyO White, age 82, passed away Tuesday, July 5, 2011 in Granite Shoals, Texas.

He was born October 31, 1928 in Olney, Texas to Herman A. White and Alice Johnson. He was raised and educated in Olney. On August 4, 1947 he married Ramona Dell Perry in Archer City, Texas. They spent 61 years of wedded bliss until she passed away in 2008. They had two sons, Garry Don White and Perry Del White. Don worked as an oilfield electrician for Nix Electric of Lubbock where he retired in 1990.

He is survived by his sons, Garry Don White and wife Terri of Odessa, Perry Del White and Bash Bilski of Brenham, Texas 7 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren and his sister, Lillie White of Odessa.

Visitation with the family will be 68 PM Friday, July 8, 2011 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Saturday, July 9, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel, with Clydel Chapman officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Jay Coleman, Digger Hill, Jerry Conner, Terry Barberousse, Ross Hoskinson, Mike Van Zandt, and Michael White. Honorary pallbearers will be Jaydon White, Jace Coleman, Draegon Johnson, and Easton Otero.
