Donna Sullenger

Donna L. Bills Sullenger, of Odessa, TX, formerly of Kermit, TX, passed from this life to her eternal life on Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at the age of 80 in Midland, TX.

Visitation will from 6:00-8:00 pm, Friday, January 15, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home.

Graveside Services will be at 10:00 am, Saturday, January 16, 2016 at Sunset Memorial Gardens. A Celebration of Life will follow at 1:00 pm at Chapel Hill Baptist Church, 1820 E. 52nd St, Odessa, TX, with Reverend Lee Fuller and Reverend Jeff Cleere officiating.

Donna was born on October 24, 1935 to Albert Bills and Rhoda (Merritt) Bills in Snyder, TX. She graduated from Snyder High School in May of 1954. She married the love of her life, Paul Thomas Sullenger on August 20, 1954 in Snyder, TX.

Donna was a loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, Nonnie, great Nonnie, aunty and sister in law. She wore many hats during her lifetime, seamstress, hair stylist, caterer, Sunday school teacher, children and youth leader, WMU director, advisor and friend.

Donna is preceded in death by her loving husband, Paul Thomas Sullenger; her parents, Albert and Rhoda Bills; brother, Gene Bills; two sisters, Beth Adcock Roberts and Lenora Winkler.

She is survived by her son, Gary Sullenger and daughter, Connie Sullenger, both of Odessa; brother, Larry Bills and wife Barbara of Snyder, TX; sister, Joy Watley of Carlsbad, NM; Brother in law, Billy Winkler of Odessa, brother in law, Huck Sullenger and wife Lujean of Snyder, TX; sister in law, Marie Flippin of Long Beach, CA; grandchildren, Aaron Bell and Alisha of Midlothian, TX, Kelby Bell and Brandon, of Odessa; three great grandchildren, Connor, Grace and baby Raylea will make her debut January 27, 2016, as well as many nieces, nephews and friends.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Bell, David Winkler, Rowdy Winkler, Larry Sullenger, David Anderson, Larry Green and Brandon Upchurch.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be given to the House of Sycamore Tree, P.O. Box 2089, Odessa, TX, 79760.

The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Medical Center Hospital ICU staff and Midland Memorial Hospital West Campus Continue Care Staff.
