Dorinda Martin

Dorinda Denise Martin was born February 12, 1953 in Torrance, Califronia to Leonard Martin and Sue Inmon Martin.

Dorinda passed from this earth on July 11, 2011.

She was a loved sister, aunt, and great aunt. She had many friends whom she loved and who loved her. She was affectionaly nicknamed DO by her coworkers and Aunt DD by her nieces and nephews. Dorinda had a heart as big as Texas and was always there for her friends and family. DD was a beautiful woman with a beautiful heart. Her family will cherish the many wonderful memories she brought to our lives. She will be missed beyond words but we know she has gone to be with her beloved mother and our Lord.

She is survived by a sister, Karla Ferguson from Odessa two nieces Sharman Ruiz from Odessa, and Ashley Ferguson from Austin two nephews, Jared Ferguson from Austin and Jaime Ruiz from Odessa and one great niece Arin Jade Ruiz also from Odessa.

Services will be held at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel Friday, July 15, 2011 at 10 AM. Mr.Allen Weakland will be officiating. Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Viewing will be between 6 PM an 8 PM Thursday, July 14, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home.
