She was a devoted wife and mother and loved to be surrounded by family and friends. She was a great cook and always opened her home to others for meals and even asked them to live with her when they were going through hard times. She would give you the shirt off her back always sacrificing for others.
She baked a mean sour cream pound cake that she would share with people all over the Odessa Community during her real estate days. After all these years, people are still talking about the time she brought a warm cake to their office over 20 years ago. She enjoyed working in the yard, gardening, sewing and cooking.
The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Parks Methodist Retirement Village and Home Hospice for the wonderful care and love she received over the past years. Memorials may be given to Parks Methodist Retirement Village, Home Hospice and CrossRoads Fellowship Building Fund.
