Dorothy Richerson

Jeanne Richerson, 87, of Odessa, TX, passed away on December 5, 2013 in Midland, TX.
Burial will be at Rowe Cemetery in Hedley, TX. Arrangements are by Sunset Memorial Gardens Funeral Home.

Jeanne was born in Childress, TX to Silas and Nettie Richerson on January 3, 1926. She was the youngest of 8 children all of which preceded her in death. She went to school at Hedley High School and graduated from WTSU in 1945. She retired from ECISD after over 40 years of service. She was a member of Parkview Church of Christ.

Jeanne is survived by nieces Donna and husband Stanley Thomas of Odessa, and Toni Gail of Richardson, TX, nephews Steve Richerson of Phoenix, AZ and John Richerson, great niece Melissa Tomlin of Midland, TX, great nephew Mike Thomas of Lubbock, TX, one greatgreat niece Lauren Wilkins of Midland, TX and two greatgreat nephews Matthew Wilkins of Midland, TX and Blake Thomas of Lubbock, TX.

Memorials may be given to Parkview Church of Christ or Odessa Christian School.

The family of Jeanne Richerson wishes to extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Vogel, Nurses and Staff at Terrace West Nursing Center in Midland for all they have done and for all the visits and cards sent to her from the Church of Christ Churches in the Odessa and Midland area.
