Dorothy Williams

April 7, 1926 — December 25, 2013

Dorthy Christine Williams passed peacefully from this earthly world into her heavenly home on December 25, 2013. While her kind, beautiful spirit will be missed by the family she leaves behind, we know in addition to being with our Lord, she is now in the arms of her beloved husband, Albert.
We know also that her spirit will live on in her son Tom, whom she dedicated her life to, as well as her cherished grandchildren Chad and Brittney, and her four greatgrandchildren Maci, Tayler, Mitchell, and Isaiah.
Dorthy Dot as she was known was that extraordinary type of woman who grew up in the era where the role of homemaker was taken very seriously it was her calling in life. Her greatest, most rewarding moments came from making her family happy and in turn making their journey in life more rewarding.
She made sure she taught respect, love and understanding, no matter how simple or challenging the path of her loved ones might be. We are better individuals for having had her as our role model.
Having been born on April 7, 1926, in Hugo, Oklahoma, to the parents of Enoch and AnnieBollen Janoe, she is survived by one remaining sister, Virgie Deveral, of Rattan, Oklahoma , her son Tom Williams and wife Dana, Odessa, Texas grandson Chad Williams and wife Tonya and their three children, of Keller , Texas, and granddaughter Brittney Williams and her son, Odessa, Texas.
Siblings she is now reuniting with are : Bill Janoe, Virgil Janoe, Ralph Janoe, Walter Janoe and Lucille Wilson.
She married Albert Williams In July 1944, in Hugo, Oklahoma.
Odessa, Texas became their home in 1956. Albert left to take his place in heaven on March 20, 2008.
Dorthys gentle, loving spirit will be missed more than any of us can imagine but we rejoice in the knowledge that she is once again with her Albert.
We take comfort in the knowledge that together they are preparing those they left behind their place beside them in heaven.
