Dylan Ray Sanders, 12, of Odessa passed away Saturday, June 9, 2012 at Covenant Childrens Hospital in Lubbock.
Visitation will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens Tuesday, June 12 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m.
Graveside Memorial Services are scheduled for Wednesday, June 13 at 10:00 a.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Dylan was born in Ft. Stockton on June 9, 2000, and his family moved to Odessa at the age of 4. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and went to school at LBJ. He graduated from the 6th grade this year with honors in math, reading, and perfect attendance.
Dylan loved to do outdoor activities like shooting guns and Bass fishing. He was good at both. He spent a lot of free time at the families shop with his Pop, uncles, brother, and cousins. Dylan also loved to be with his best friend Tuff Lee they always had a great time together. He loved playing soccer and being in scouts and was excited to move from cub scouts to boy scouts. When at home he liked to ride his bike and play video games with his brother and friends.
Dylan was a grown man in a boys body. With the previous loss of his father, he took good care of his mother and brother. He always wanted to help others and was a hard worker at anything that needed to be done. With his death, Dylan was an organ donor so that he would continue to help others and was able to save two peoples lives.
Survivors include: his mother Elena Sanders, brother Bronson Sanders, maternal grandparents, Anatoleh and Alla Heda of Kherson, Ukraine, paternal grandparents Larry and Kim Sanders of Odessa, uncles Jeremy and Chase Sanders of Odessa, one aunt, Ceneca and husband, Tim Sebolt of Odessa, cousins Paxton Burkholder, Landon Sebolt, Tyler Sebolt, and Kobe Sebolt all of Odessa, James Morris, special family friend of Odessa.
