Eddie Mcpherson

Eddie McPherson, age 76, of Odessa, TX, passed away on December 27, 2015 in Odessa.

Visitation will be from 2:00-4:00 pm, Thursday, December 31, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home.

A Memorial Service will be at 1:00 pm, Friday, January 1, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Buddy Monahan of Westminster Presbyterian Church officiating.
Eddie was born April 17, 1939 to Jesse and Daisy McPherson in Breckenridge, TX. He graduated from Odessa High School. Eddie married Wanda Lee Hanes on September 1, 1956 in Odessa.

He worked for Parker Drilling and was owner of Ignition Service and Supply for over 30 years. He enjoyed drag racing with his son Billy and traveling to NHRA events with Pete and Les.

Eddie is preceded in death by his loving wife, Wanda and his son, Kenneth McPherson.

He is survived by his sisters, Judy Hutchins and her husband, James, Billie Commander and her husband, John; son, Billy McPherson and his wife, Deborah; grandchildren, Jamey McPherson and his wife Christy, Kristen Christian, Jason McPherson and his wife Cassie, Kaylie McPherson; two great grandchildren, Jameson and Calista McPherson; numerous nieces, nephews, friends and a very special four legged friend named Jack.

Pallbearers will be Pete Carbery, Les Carson, Gary Ward and Mark Dunn.
