Edith Ester Beckham departed this life on Sunday, November 10, 2013 in Odessa, Texas.
She was born on January 28, 1918 to the late James Luther Browning and Julia Ann Hurt Browning in Pike County, Roseboro, Arkansas.

She married William Lewis Beckham on February 10, 1934 in Morton, Texas. They moved from Morton to Odessa in 1945. He preceded her in death on December 14, 2000. She was a homemaker and member of Bible Baptist Church. She is also preceded in death by her three brothers, William Harold Browning, Floyd Browning, and James Roy Sonny Browning, and a sister, Lucinda Ruth Browning Walden.

Those left to mourn her passing include, William Lewis Beckham, Jr. of Odessa and
Patsy Janell Beckham Gill of Bartlesville, OK four sisters, Virginia Jones and Gladys
Duke of Lubbock, Texas, Mary Lewis of Morton, Texas, and Janie Newberry of Monahans ten grandchildren twentytwo great grandchildren and nine great greatgrandchildren.

Services have been scheduled for 1:00 P.M. Wednesday, November 13, 2013 at the Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor John Lyons officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens in Odessa, Texas.
