Edna Mangus

Edna Mae Mangus, age 85, of Odessa passed away Saturday, June 02, 2012 at Park Methodist Retirement Village in Odessa.

She was born in Medrian Logan County, Oklahoma on August 26, 1926 to Alva Jenkins and Mollie Lowery Jenkins. She married Claude William Mangus on August 4, 1946.

She was preceded in death by her husband and daughter Carol Scott.

Survivors include her daughters Barbara Cates, Linda Scott, Christine Brokow, Mallorie Mangus Hayden and son Kenneth Mangus. She is also survived by fourteen grandchildren, and her sisters Elenora Davis and Theta Best.

She was a loving mother who was always there to take care of her family and will greatly be missed by all who knew her.

Graveside services are scheduled for 10:00 AM Monday, June 04, 2012 at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mark Kirby of Beacon Baptist Church will be officiating.
