Edward E. Miller, Jr. age 65, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, July 27, 2010 in Odessa.
He was born January 25, 1945 in Ardmore, Oklahoma to Edward Earl Miller, Sr. and Nellie Alma Grems Miller. He married Carolyn Jean Bivins on October 10, 1969 in Monahans, Texas. He was employed as a Senior Technical Associate with Lucent Technologies in Denver, Colorado.
He leaves behind his wife, Carolyn Miller, the love of his life son, Steven Edward Miller and wife, Mindy Winchell Miller of Houston, Texas daughter, Laura Diane Miller of Odessa father, Edward E. Miller, Sr. of Sulphur, Oklahoma nephew, Scott Miller of Oklahoma City, Oklahoma stepbrothers, Donald Moore of Sulphur, Oklahoma and Jack Moore of Union, South Carolina and numerous other family members.
Ed served in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War as a Typoon Tracker. He loved to watch the Denver Broncos football team, whether it was at the stadium or on television.
He loved the Lord and his family tremendously. He was full of life and enjoyed every moment of it. He was loved and respected by so many friends and acquaintances. He will be deeply missed by all of his loving family.

Visitation with the family will be 68 PM Friday, July 30, 2010 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Services will be held at 3:00 PM Saturday, July 31, 2010 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor John VanHoose officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
Pallbearers will be Ronnie Bivins, Danny Bivins, Glenn Curry, Larry Jones, Nicky Bivins and Daniel Bivins.
