Edwin Warrington

Edwin Ray Warrington, age 91 of Odessa, went to be with the Lord on Monday, March 25, 2013 in Odessa.

Visitation will be 68 PM Thursday, March 28, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral service will be at 11:00 AM Friday, March 29, 2013 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Terry Pierce officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Aaron Adcock, Michael Dunn, Mark Dunn, Steve Dunn, Christopher Pipes, and Dennis Pipes. Honorary pallbearer will be Jay Adcock.

He was born December 11, 1921 to Ed and Jewell Warrington in Frankston, Texas. He married Jutta Bennig April 26, 1941. He moved to West Texas in 1951 and worked as an operator for El Paso Natural Gas Company until retirement.

He was preceded in death by his wife, parents, two brothers, four sisters, and great granddaughter, Hayley Skyler Adcock.

Survivors include his daughters, Marianne Dunn and husband Travis Dunn of Odessa, Marga Rae Pipes and husband Gary Pipes of Midland son, Keith Bailey and wife Cheryl Bailey of Cody, Wyoming sister Martha Hopper of San Antonio brother Dudley Warrington of Frankston, Texas 7 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and 6 great great grandchildren.

The family requests memorials be directed to Hospice of Odessa and wish to give sincere thanks to Pastors and friends for visitation during his illness. They also wish to express their gratitude to the staff of 5 Central at Medical Center Hospital.
