Effie Mae Cricket Tindle, 72 went to be with her Lord and Savior on December 4, 2009 at 1:58 P.M. after a long battle with illness. She was born in Andrews, TX on January 13, 1937 to S.L. Bo and Florene Davis.
Cricket was a third generation Odessan. She attended First Assembly of God Church when her health allowed it. She was a devoted daughter, wife, mother and grandmother for her many years. She will be sorely missed by her friends and family.
Cricket was preceded in death by her husband Travis Tindle.
She is survived by her mother Florene Davis of Odessa; two sons, Miles Tindle of Abilene, TX and Clayton Tindle of Odessa; four Grandchildren, Amy Perez of Odessa, Tyce Tindle of Lubbock, TX, Terra Tindle of Princeton, NJ and Tracy Tindle of
Oklahoma City, OK.
Funeral services will be held at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel on Monday at 10: 00 A. M. December 7, 2009 with Paul Thompson officiating. Visitation with the family will be Sunday, December 6, 2009 from 4 6:00 P.M. at Sunset Funeral Home.
Interment will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery.
The family request that all memorials be directed to Hospice House of Odessa, TX in appreciation for the immense kindness the family received.
