Eleanor Poitevint

Eleanor Mary (Mueller) Poitevint, age 92, of Midland, TX, passed away on December 20, 2016 in Odessa.

Visitation will be from 9:00 am -10:00 am, Friday, December 23, 2016 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
Funeral Services will be at 10:00 am, Friday, December 23, 2016 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Gary Redwine officiating.

Eleanor was born April 20, 1924 to William Frank Mueller Jr. and Mary Cecilia (Jonietz) Mueller in San Antonio, TX. She was raised in San Antonio, TX,
where she met and married Warren K. Poitevint on July 2, 1942 while he was stationed at the United States Airforce Base in San Antonio.
They moved to Pecos, TX in 1945 and lived there until 1960 when they moved to Odessa, TX. She went to work for the ECISD in the cafeteria.
She retired from there in 1987 with 22 years of service. She loved children and took pride in cooking and taking care of her family. She was always ready
to go places, deer hunting, camping and visiting friends. She was a member of Alamo Heights Baptist Church.

Eleanor is preceded in death by her loving husband Warren K. Poitevint, one son, Walter A. Poitevint and her parents, William and Mary Mueller and one sister, Evelyn Silvers.

She is survived by her daughter, Becky Bragg of Midland, TX, 3 grandsons, Jason Bragg, Lee Bragg, both of Midland, TX, Michael Bragg of Odessa, TX, 2 great grandsons,
Eden Bragg, Christian Bragg both of Odessa, TX, 2 brothers, Walter F. Mueller of Weatherford, TX and Bill Mueller of San Antonio, TX and numerous nieces and nephews.
