Eligio Bustillos

Eligio Evaro Bustillos, 100, of Gardendale, Texas, passed away on February 1, 2020, in Odessa, Texas.

Eligio was born in Redford, Texas to Hermenegildo Bustillos and Antonia Evaro Bustillos on December 8, 1919.  Eligio lived most his life in Barstow, Texas and then lived the remainder in Gardendale, Texas.  He married Margarita Sanchez on July 17, 1971 in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico. He was a hard worker all his life. He was involved in farming, ranching, did mechanic work and finally retired as a heavy equipment operator.  Eligio was a good provider for his family, a good honest, trustworthy, sincere man to everyone he crossed paths with.  He was a true cowboy, always dressed the part; a real man. He will truly be missed….  Our hearts ache…. but we have the hope and reassurance that we’ll see you again….  We love you always.
