Elisabeth Callaway

Elisabeth Betsy Callaway, 70, of Midland Texas, passed away on February 27, 2012, in Midland Texas.

Visitation will be from 2 pm to 4 pm on Sunday, March 4th, 2012 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home in Odessa, Texas.

Graveside services will be held at 10 am on Monday, March 5th, 2012 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Pastor Bob Hopkins officiating.

Betsy was born in Mineral Wells, Texas, to Ray and Keith Louise Blakney DeWitt on October 17th, 1941. She married Curtis Callaway on September 29, 1979 in Odessa, Texas. She worked for Mobil Oil and enjoyed working with her brothers and sister at PMC Equipment, a family business. Betsy enjoyed spending time with her grandkids and her two dachshunds, Dixie and Maggie.

Betsy was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother, Kenny, and sister, Gay. She is survived by two daughters, Melissa and her husband, Rodney Hatfield, of Midland Teresa and her husband, Allen Browning, of Abilene son, Mark and wife, Stacy Gibson of Bowie, Texas brother David and wife, Mary DeWitt of Odessa grandchildren, Brian Beauvais, Jennifer and Julie Hatfield, Justin Gibson, Kacey Ballinger, Chase and Kelsey Browning, Mica Givens, Lakin and Adison Aaron.

In lieu of flowers, the family request memorials be made to Hospice of Midland or First Baptist Church of Midland Building Fund.
