Ellen Beall

Ellen Beall, 92, passed away Thursday, May 14, 2009 in Big Spring, Texas,

She was born December 23, 1916 in Campte, Louisiana to Dennis and Callie Goodson. On December 7, 1951 she married Chas T. Beall in Lovington, New Mexico. He preceded her in death on December 30, 1973. She lived most of her life in Odessa, Texas and was a resident of Luman-Lusk Sanchez Veterans Home in Big Spring, Texas for the past three years. She was a Methodist.

She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Wayne, Dee and Milton; and three sisters, Irene, Louise and Amelia.

Survivors include her brother, Arthur Goodson of Smackover, Arkansas; nieces and nephews, Sadie Wallace, Mary Flint, Alice Brown, Richard Nixson, David Nixson, Douglass Nixson, and Dennis Nixson; also, long time friend, Kenneth Moore and numerous other nieces and nephews.

Graveside services are scheduled for 3:00 PM Friday, May 15, 2009 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Chaplain Lynn Robertson, with Compass Hospice officiating.

Arrangements are with Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.
