Elma Flores

Elma Gutierrez Flores 82 of Odessa, died January 10, 2011 with her family by her side.

She was born in San Juan, TX. on March 4, 1928, to Reyes and Julia Casas Gutierrez.

Elma is survived by her three daughters and their spouses, Lucy and Tony Jimenez of Rockwall, Texas, Leonilda and Elias Moralez of Hale Center, Texas, Lillian and Isaiah Garcia of Odessa, Texas 12 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren three sisters, Rosenda Cordero of Harlingen, Texas, Maria G. Guerra of Rockport, Texas, Minda Gonzales of Santa Rosa, Texas, two brothers, Epifanio Roy Gutierrez of Belton, Texas and Reyes Gutierrez of Santa Rosa, Texas. She is also survived by two other children, whom she graciously and lovingly cared for as her own, Rebecca Lozano and David Rosa of Odessa and their six children.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Gumecindo Flores her parents, Reyes and Julia Gutierrez one brother Erasmo Gutierrez a grandson, Issac Garcia a granddaughter Prissy Jimenez and a greatgrandson, Jonathan Viquez.

A wake service will be held from 68 PM, Wednesday, January 12, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home, with Jimmy Jimenez officiating.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Thursday, January 13, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Elias Moralez officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Jimmy Jimenez, Caleb Moralez, Nathan Moralez, Jacob Garcia, Randy Cisneros, John Viquez and Mickey white.
