Elpidia Subia

Elpidia Subia, age 79, of Odessa, passed away shortly after noon, Thursday, November 10, 2011 in Odessa.

She was born October 9, 1932, in San Carlos to Seferino and Josefa Garcia. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters, Jesus and Dominga, her brothers Hijinio and Manuel, her son Oscar Subia and her beloved husband Librado Subia.

Survivors include sons, Fred and Orlando Subia of Odessa daughters, Valentina Subia and Belinda Perez, both of Odessa sister, Guadalupe Granado of Odessa grandchildren, Freddie Jr., Devon, Erik, Veronica, Oscar Jr., Anthony, Christopher, Jackie, Brian, Fabian, Orlando Jr., Yvonne Subia, Johnny Rodriguez, Mayra Rodriguez, Christina and Richard Ramos, Josie and Chris Lopez and 38 greatgrandchildren.

Rosary will be recited at 6:00 PM Sunday at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Mass will be celebrated at 2:00 PM Monday, November 14, 2011 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Father Patrick officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

We will always miss her and hold her in our hearts.
