Elvira Gonzalez

Elvira Gonzalez, age 78, passed away Wednesday, February 3, 2010 at Hospice House in Odessa.

She was born October 12, 1931 in Tierras Nuevas, Mexico to Jose Carrasco and Victoriana Lujan. She married Martin Fierro Gonzalez.

Survivors include her husband, Martin Gonzalez of Odessa her daughters, Magali Reyes of Odessa, Yahara Lisa Guitierrez and husband Jeff Peacher of El Paso Tx. sisters, Eva Molina, Corina Figueroa of Odessa, Noemi Daza and Sonia Bustillos, Elizama Valenzuela, Zilpa Solorio of El Paso, and Francisca Carrasco of Del Rio, Tx, and Roberto Carrasco, Raymundo Carrasco from Crane, Tx and grandchildren, Rene Reyes, Araceli Ornelas of Odessa, Maribel Morales, Jose Reyes of San Antonio great grandchildren, Noe Ornelas of Odessa, Carlos Morales, Gabriela Morales of San Antonio.

A Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 PM Friday, February 5, 2010 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Funeral arrangements are scheduled for 11:00 AM Saturday, February 6, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Amador Valenzuela officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
