Elvira Suchil

Elvira Serrano Suchil went to be with the Lord in Heaven Sunday, February 22, 2009 in Odessa.

She was born January 25, 1946 in Ojinaga, Chihuahua, Mexico to Vicente Serrano and Manuela Serrano. She married Acencion G. Suchil on April 2, 1963 in Mexico. She was raised in Mexico and was a member of Iglesia Evangelica Cristiana Church.

She was preceded in death by a son, Ascencion Ace Suchil and her parents.

Survivors include her husband, Acencion G. Suchil; daughters, Maria Suchil, Dora Suchil and Aleida Suchil; sons Oscar Suchil and Lonnie Brown Suchil, all of Odessa; mother-in-law, Virginia Gonsalez, and daughter-in-law, Regina Suchil; and grandchildren, Evianna Suchil, Evette Garcia, Richard Garcia, Xylina Suchil, Oscar Suchil, Tristian Suchil and Seth Suchil.

A Prayer Service will be held at 6:00 PM Tuesday, February 24, 2009 in Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.

Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Wednesday, February 25, 2009 in Templo Buenas Nuevas Church, 505 Vine Street in Odessa, with Reverend Rosario Hill and Pastor Samuel Lopez officiating. Interment will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Richard Garcia, Jesus Serrano, Lonnie Brown, Luis Garcia, Junior Cabello, and Tony Castor.

The family wishes to give special thanks to Home Hospice, Mr. Alvaro and Mrs. Antonia Garcia and family.
