Era Altalene Stell Tindall, age 92 years and 11 months, went to her heavenly home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Tuesday, November 25, 2014 in Odessa, Texas.
Era Altalene Stell was born in Lonestar, Arkansas to Mary Ruth Thomas Stell and Columbus Asbury Stell, December 14, 1921. She married Ray Tindall on June 8, 1940, in Conway, Arkansas. She was a homemaker. She was a charter member of Tabernacle Baptist Church, where she attended for over 37 years.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ray Tindall, her son, Harrell Dean Tindall, her brothers, Edward Stell, Julian Dude Stell, one grandchild, and two great grandchildren.
She is survived by her children, Billy Ray Tindall and wife Bonnie of Casa Arkansas Betty Ruth Ingram and husband, JC Judy Ann Cabral and husband, Charles daughterinlaw, Libby Tindall, all of Odessa her brother, Ermon Stell and her sister, Betty Allen, both of Morrilton, Arkansas. She is also survived by her grandchildren, Tammy Adkins and husband, Mark Debbie Barnes and husband, Robby Shanna Leach and husband, Brandon Tiffany Kelley and husband, Matt Craig Ingram and wife, JoAnn Keith Ingram and wife, Julie Charissa Blattman and husband, Todd Janeen Hartsfield and husband, Lance Harrell Tindall Jr. and wife, Glenna Jacoba Bartholomae and husband, David Lisa Steen and husband, Steve Vaughn Ray Cabral and wife, Marlena Julie Brown and husband, Chris 37 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
She opened her mouth with wisdom and in her tongue is the law of kindness. She looked well to the ways of her household, and eateth not the bread of idleness. Her children arise up and call her blessed her husband also, and he praiseth her. Proverbs 31:2628
The family would like to give special thanks to Dr. Jayram Naidu, Irene Tinney, Candy Foster, Christina Dorsett, and Lilly Hernandez for the very special care they have given. We also wish to say how much we appreciate the ER and CCU staff at ORMC for their professionalism, kindness, and consideration of our entire family. One very special CCU nurse gave such loving care to our mother.
Visitation will be 6 pm to 8 pm, Friday, November 28, 2014, at Sunset Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, Odessa, Texas.
Funeral Services will be held at Sunset Memorial Gardens Funeral Home, Odessa, Texas, Saturday, November 29, 2014, at 1:00 pm. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Rev. Mark McDonald and Rev. Craig Ingram are officiating.
