Erble Robinson

Erble Robinson, 67, of Odessa passed away on February 7, 2015 in Odessa.

Visitation will be Tuesday, February 10 from 5:00-7:00 PM at Sunset Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 am on Wednesday, February 11 at Sunset Funeral Home with Elder Frank O'Beirne of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints, officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Erble was born in Vidor, Texas to Virgil and Audie Jacks on April 1, 1947. She married her soul mate Larry, of 42 years, on February 15, 1973 in Odessa, Texas.

Erble graduated from Kirbyville High School in 1965 and was voted as "Most Likely to Succeed." From there, she attended Texas Women's University in Denton, Texas and graduated with her teaching degree in 1971.

Erble became an educator in Ector County Independent School District where she taught Special Education, 5th Grade, and participated in the tutoring program for a total of 36 years. She was involved in church activities and functions which allowed her to further share her spirit and love of Heavenly Father.

Erble received the distinguished honor of "Teacher of the Year" during her career. Her caring heart, compassion, and love of people were undeniable. She was devoted to her family as a wife, mother, sister, daughter and friend to many.

Erble is preceded in death by father Virgil Jacks, mother Audie Jacks and brother Wayman Jacks.

Erble is survived by husband Larry Robinson, daughter Larisa Coffman and husband Mike Coffman of Odessa, Texas, one cherished grandson Grayson Halbert. 4 sisters: Wanda Cofty of Bon Wier, Texas, Beverly Stroope of Midland, Texas, Judy Hall and Angela Eaves both of Kirbyville, Texas. 3 brothers: Bruce Jacks of Newton, Texas, Milton Jacks and Aubrey Jacks both of Kirbyville, Texas.
