Ermidio Carranza

Ermidio Ermi Carranza, at the age of 28 passed from this life, to rest in the grace of God. His passing occurred at his residence, on Monday November 24, 2008. A loving son and a well loved family member and friend to all. Ermi was born in Levelland, Texas on September 24, 1980. Later moved with his family to Odessa in the mid 1980s, he is a 1999 graduate of Permian High School, and later moved to Midland. He worked in several fields, from the food industry; construction and oil industry where he excelled in all.

Survivors include his parents Israel and Sarah Carranza, sister; Teresa Martinez and her husband Johnny and her children Eleana Zapopum and Inocente Lilliana Carranza. His brother; Preciliano Preci Carranza and his wife Anne and their children Kimberly Alisa, Branden Daniel, and Brittnie Anne; grandmother, Maria G. Carranza and many Uncles, Aunts and Cousins. He is preceded in death by a brother Israel Carranza, Jr. and his grandparents, Grandma Inocente DeLaCrue Ledesma, Grandpa Maximo Ledesma and Grandpa Gualupe Carranza, Sr.

Funeral Mass will be 2:00 PM Saturday, November 29, 2008 at St. Marys Catholic Church with Father Francis Frey officiating. Rosary services will be held at 5:00 PM Friday, November 28, 2008 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home. Burial will be at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
