Ernest Randolph Nunneley, age 85, of Odessa, passed away on Friday, October 14, 2011.
He was born on May 26, 1926 in Borger, Texas to Ernest Randolph Nunneley Sr., and Flora Bell Pogue Nunneley.
He served in the United States Navy in WWII during the AsiaticPacific Campaign.
He attended Texas Tech University after the war and received a BBA in marketing.
He was married to Sue Perry Holt on August 11, 1951 in Wichita Falls, Texas and preceded by her in death in 1988. They were married for fortyseven years.
He was active in Toastmasters International. He won many trophies for most humorous
speaker.
His hobbies were golfing, fishing, and working on things.
He worked as a Manufacturers Representative, selling oilfield equipment, valves and fittings for over fiftynine years in Odessa.
Most recently, he worked for U P and S of Odessa and Valves and Fittings of Houston, Inc.
He was a long time member of Highland United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his daughter, Amy Ruth McFadin and her husband Dougles Everett McFadin of Ft. Worth son, Blake Randolph Nunneley of Dallas, Texas
sister, Shirley Costello of Plano, Texas and grandchildren, Whitney Casey Payne and Douglas Scott McFadin.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 17, 2011 at Sunset Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens from 6:008:00 P.M. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2011 at 10:00 A.M. at Highland United Methodist Church with Pastor Dot Lea officiating.
