Estela Flores Rodriguez

Estela Flores Rodriguez, 94, of Sheffield, Texas, passed away on Tuesday, October 29, 2024, in Odessa, Texas.

Visitation will be Monday, November 4, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM with the Recitation of the Rosary at 6:00 PM, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, November 5, 2024, at St. Mary’s Catholic Church with Father Bernardito Getigan officiating. A burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are entrusted to Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home.

Estela was born in Brackettville, Texas, on Sunday, July 20, 1930, to Jaime Flores and Tomasa San Miguel. She married Steve Rodriguez on August 2, 1949. She was a homemaker, caring for her husband and children, always taking part in their place of business and tending to her children’s school activities. Estela was a deacon of her church for many years. She was a Godly woman of Faith and Prayer. Her faith and family were her priorities. 

Estela is preceded in death by her husband, Steve; parents; brothers, Jesse Flores, Alfredo Flores, Jaime Flores, Chris Flores and Jesse San Miguel; sisters, Camila Talamantez, Laura Retana, Mary Galindo, and Corina Flores.

Estela survived by her children, Jolanda Roman (Frank), Becky Cox (Michael), Steve Rodriguez (Kit), DeeAnn Harper (Dennis) and Renee Galindo (Jessie); grandchildren, Paul James Roman (Ervin), Jason Lee Roman (Stacy), Ashley Torres (Jaime), Michael Cox (Siera), Chirs Cox (Vanessa), Brittney Vigil (Joseph), Cassandra Rodriguez, Misty Rodriguez, Hayden Harper (Teagan); great grandchildren, Paul Ryan Roman, Faith Torres, Hope Torres, Mia Rose Roman, Brody Cox, Bryson Cox, Braxton Cox, Sebestian Cox, Cole Cox, Valentina Vigil, Mattheiu Rodriguez, and Briggs Harper; furry grandchildren, PeeWee and Gabby Galindo; and many loved nieces, nephews, neighbors and friends.

Pallbearers will be Paul James Roman, Jason Roman, Michael Cox, Chris Cox, Sebastian Cox, Paul Ryan Roman, Hayden Harper, and Mattheiu Rodriguez.

Honorary pallbearers will be Cassandra Rodriguez, Misty Rodriguez, Ashley Ann Torres, Brittney Vigil.
