Estella Turnbow

Estella May Turnbow, age 83, of Brownwood, TX passed away after a short illness on Monday, August 14, 2017 in Brownwood.

Funeral Services will be at 10:00 am, Thursday, August 17, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend John McLemore officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.

Estella was born May 25, 1934 to Walter Lee Jones and Myrtle Marie (Walters) Jones in Manchester, Tennessee. She married the love of her life, Alfred Earl Turnbow in 1951 in Sweetwater, TX.

Estella is preceded in death by her loving husband in 2016, Alfred Earl Turnbow; her parents, Walter and Myrtle Jones; one brother and three sisters.

She is survived by her son, Kenneth Turnbow of Gallup, NM; daughter, Brenda Walraven and husband, Donnie of Brownwood, TX; brother, Sam Jones; 7 grandchildren, many great grandchildren, nieces and nephews; sister in-law, Edith Brawley of Farmington, NM and her beloved pet, Daisy.
