Esther Woodall

Esther Rose Holladay Woodall, 82, daughter of John D. and Tommy Pace born November 13, 1926 in San Angelo, TX went to be with the Lord January 5, 2009.

Raised in San Angelo where she met and married Fritz Woodall. Lived in North Cowden and Gardendale, TX where she served as Postmaster for 31 years until retiring and moving to Midland in 2003. Enjoyed her life singing on the radio as a young adult, dancing, socializing and being the greatest mother and loving wife to her family.

Preceded in death by husbands Fritz Woodall and Ed Holladay, her parents, 6 sisters, Lora Harrell, Dell Atkins, Johnnie Wilson, Lois Pace, Verda Pace, Bertha Pace, one brother, Thomas Weldon Pace and one great grandchild, Samantha White.

Survived by son, Ray Woodall and wife Diane of Greenwood, TX, daughters Trina Prichard and husband Robert of Kingwood, TX, Kay McCollum and husband Russ of Odessa, TX. Grandchildren Robert Prichard, Jr. and wife Jackie, Jason Prichard and wife Tammy, Heather Hutson and husband John, Gerri Coleman and husband Jay, Brandon Woodall and wife Stephenie, Johnna Johnson and husband Kyle, Kenny McCollum and wife Shannon, Richard Digger Hill, Jeff McCollum and wife LaShae, Ryan Holloman and Jordan Holloman, 14 great grandchildren, one niece and 3 nephews.

Celebration of life will be held 3:00 PM Thursday, January 8, 2009 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Jon Harrington officiating with interment following at Sunset Memorial Gardens, Odessa, TX.
