Eva Parker

Eva Parker, 85, of Odessa passed away April 2, 2015 in Odessa.

Visitation will be on Sunday, April 5, 2015 from 12:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Sunset Memorial Gardens & Funeral Home. Graveside service will be Monday, April 6, 2015 at 4:00 pm at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Reverend Dr. Jimmy Braswell, officiating.

Eva was born November 29, 1928 to Flora and F. M. Chapple in Abilene, Texas. Eva married Fred Parker on September 19, 1948 and they moved to Odessa in 1958. She was a devoted housewife for many years and then worked in the Permian High School library from which she retired in 1991.

Eva is survived by a son, Tony Parker of New Orleans, Louisiana and a daughter Glenda McDowell of Brackettville, Texas, three grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
