E.R Miether , 85, of Odessa passed away Wed. May 21,2008 at his residence. He was born December 23, 1922 in Hankamer, Texas to Adolph and Irene Miether. He was the owner and operator of Miether Machine Shop which he established in the 1940s. Mr. Miether was in the Army Air Corp during World War II and was a member of the Odessa Chuck Wagon Gang.

He is survived by his daughters Judy Hardy of Bulverde and Marilyn Merritt of Austin. Two grandchildren; Charlotte Allen and Edward Merritt

Memorial services will be 10 AM Tuesday, May 27, 2008 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Jimmy Braswell officiating.
