Evan Taylor

Evan Michael Taylor, age 15 days, went to be with Jesus on Wednesday, September 19, 2012 at Odessa Regional Medical Center.

Evan was born in the morning on Tuesday, September 4, 2012. Evans time on Earth with his family was short, but he was loved and cherished dearly by his mom and dad, Marialice and Mike.

Evan Almighty, as he was known by the NICU nurses, was a fighter, and like his mommy and daddy, was very stubborn. Evan loved his mommys voice and touch and enjoyed when she would talk to him and hold his hand.

Evan is survived by his parents, Mike and Marialice Taylor his siblings Halle and Ethan Taylor, and Marissa Bennett his paternal greatgrandmother Allie Conley, his paternal grandfather Bill Taylor and wife Denise, his maternal grandmother Mae Bendik his aunt Kelly Fletcher and husband Jason, his aunt Dicksy Presley and husband Michael, his aunt Melinda Bendik, his uncle Marshall Bendik and wife Stephanie, his uncle Clayton Bendik, and wife Bianca, his uncle Carl Smith and wife Kelly Jo, and his uncle Cody Armer, as well as many great aunts and uncles, aunts, uncles, cousins, close family, and close friends.

Evan is preceded in death by his paternal greatgrandfather, Weldon Lee Taylor, and his paternal grandmother, Carolyn Suzanne Taylor, and his maternal greatgrandmother, Alice Joy Hanner.

Evans struggle here on Earth was short, but the family takes great comfort in knowing he is happy in heaven with Jesus.

A memorial service for Evan will be held at 2:00 PM Tuesday, September 25, 2012 at Odessa Christian Faith Center with Don Caywood officiating.
