Evelyn Joyce Brannan

Evelyn Joyce Brannan passed away on October 1st, 2023, in Odessa, TX.

A graveside service will be at 10:00 AM, Thursday, October 5th, 2023, at sunset Memorial Gardens. Brother Mike Bartlett will be officiating. Burial we'll follow services graveside.

Evelyn was born in Wingate, TX to Henry and Mary Bredemeyer on November 27^th, 1926.

Her passions were her family, cooking baking sweets and eating them. She also had a passion for bowling, winning many trophies throughout tournaments until she gave up bowling in the late 1980s. She married Ray Brannan on November 17th, 1970, in Hobbs, NM.

Evelyn is preceded in death by husband, Ray Brannan; her parents, Henry and Mary; sisters, Emma, Lena, Minnie, Lenora, Josephine; and brothers, Leon, Sonny and William. Evelyn also had two sons, Marion and Steven; and stepdaughter, Debbie Thomson preceded her in death.

She is survived by her daughter, Joyce Goodson; grandson, Robert Goodson; son-in-law, Martin Thomson; and many cousins’ nieces and nephews.

We want to thank the doctors and nurses at Medical Center hospital and Madison medical resort for all their help. We also want to give a special thanks to doctor Nam Kim.
