Fannie Windham

Fannie Belle Windham, 80 years of age, of Odessa, Texas, passed away on March 6, 2016 in Odessa, Texas.

Fannie was born in Waldrup, Mississippi, to James Adolphus Sims and Maude Roberta Lightsey on September 24, 1935. Fannie was married to Frank Windham on September 10, 1950 who preceded her in death. Later in life, Fannie married Eley Jones who preceded her in death. Fannie worked for years in the electronics industry on the assembly line and later moving up to do clerical work.

Fannie is preceded in death by her parents, James and Roberta Sims and her brother, Johnny "Nick" Sims.

Fannie is survived by her daughter, Kathy Windham Stephens and son in law, Bobby Stephens of Odessa, Texas; son, Bennie F. Windham and daughter in law, Joyce Windham of Leander, Texas; sisters, Annie Osborne of Rockdale, Texas, Fredna Brown of Odessa, Texas; eight grandchildren, Melissa Roberts, Chrystal Windham, Nathan Stephens, Dianna Griffith, Amanda Sparks, Tiffany Miller, Christopher Windham, Katrina Phillips, and 14 great-grandchildren.

Visitation will be Friday, March 11, 2016, from 6:00 pm-8:00 pm at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 12, 2016, at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Sunset Gardens.
