Fay Gray

Fay Nell Gray of Odessa, Texas passed away on October 24, 2015.

Fay Nell was born in Colorado City, Texas to Cecil and Violet Rhoades on June 5, 1926. Though just a young girl, she served her country by working for the Ryan Aeronautical Company in San Diego during WWII. She married Steve Perry Gray on January 3, 1946 in Odessa. She was a member of the Fraternal Order of Eagles. She attended Odessa Christian Faith Center. Most importantly, she was a homemaker, mother, grandmother and great grandmother.

Fay Nell is preceded in death by her husband, Steve Perry Gray, and great grandson Bradee Jayse Healer.

She is survived by her children, DeeWayne and Brenda Gray of Tyrone, Georgia; Steve and Susan Gray of Lubbock, Texas; and Patricia Copeland of Odessa, Texas; six grandchildren and eleven great grandchildren.

The family wishes to extend our sincere thanks to the staff of Medical Center Hospital for their exceptional care of Fay Nell during her final weeks.

A Memorial Service will be at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, October 28, 2015 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Don Caywood of Odessa Christian Faith Center officiating.
