Florence Miller

Florence Verdell Miller, 88 years old, of Odessa, passed away on August 4, 2014 at Odessa Regional Medical Center.

Graveside Services will be on Wednesday, August 6, 2014 at 10 AM at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Pastor Josh Green of Redemption Church officiating.

Florence Verdell Miller was born on June 15, 1926 to Irvin Frank Frazier and Tom Ben Coan in Comanche Co., Texas. She married her husband, Oscar Rex Miller on December 26, 1945 in Comanche, TX. She also served in The Army Air Corps. stateside during World War II. She was a founding member of the Grace Baptist Church.

Florence is preceded in death by her loving husband, Oscar Rex Miller, her son, Fraiser Rex Miller, Her sisters, Jean Farrow, Laura Ann Moore and brothers, Frank Frasier and Olin Frasier.

She is survived by her children, Hazel Dell Mauldin and Paul and wife Sherry Miller, sister, Louetta Stacy, brothers, Bob Frasier and James Frasier, grandchildren, Jill Wood and her husband Anthony, Daniel Mauldin and his wife Ashley, Alex Wood and Tristan Wood, Great Grandchildren, Mayson Higdon, Seth Higdon, Zoe Wood, Chayse Mauldin and Blaine Mauldin.

The family would like to send special thanks to Dr. JB Naidu, Dr. Raja Naidu, Dr Kahvar Dar, Dr. Stephen Riley, Dr. Anand Reddy and all the nursing staff at Odessa Regional Medical Center Hospital.
