Floyd Dunn

July 11, 1933 — April 20, 2014

Floyd, Ed Dunn, passed away on Easter, April 20, 2014 at his home, where he wanted to be, after a lengthy illness with his family at his side. We mourn his passing and celebrate his life. He touched all our lives in so many ways, as husband, daddy, papa, pepaw and friend.

He was born in Enid, Oklahoma on July 11, 1933 to Floyd and Flora Dunn. He was married to his loving wife of 62 years, Lily Dunn. He retired from Texas Electric after 35 years of faithful service.

He loved fishing, going to casinos, playing bingo, football, western movies, books and a good joke. He was a charter member of Cumberland Presbyterian Church where he served as an elder and was on different committees.

He is preceded in death by his parents Floyd and Flora Dunn, brother Vernon and a son Randy.

He is survived by his loving wife Lily, son Rickey, daughter Roxanna and her husband Eddie Williams sisters Carolyn Walker and Margaret Matlock, Grandchildren Justin Dunn, Randi Lacey and her husband Robert, Steven Williams, Crystal Williams ten great grandchildren that he loved dearly and bunches of nieces and nephews.

Arrangements are with Sunset Memorial Gardens and Funeral Home. A memorial service will be on Thursday April 24, 2014 at 10 am at Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Reverend Jimmy Braswell officiating.

In lieu of flower contributions, donations may be made to Cumberland Presbyterian Church or Home Hospice.
