Fonda Jordan

Fonda Nell Jordan, age 78, of Odessa, passed away on Thursday, January 5, 2017 in Odessa.

Visitation will be Sunday, January 8, 2017 from 5:00 p.m.to 7:00 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home, 6801 E. Hwy 80, in Odessa.

Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday, January 9, 2017 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel, 6801 E. Hwy 80, Odessa, with the Reverend Wade Welch of Gardendale Christian Church, officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens

Fonda was born in Palestine, Texas to Leonard & Ruby Grasty on November 17, 1938. She married Raymond Earl Jordan on January 7, 1955. She and her husband co-owned Jordan Spooling Service, Inc. with their son, Ronny Jordan, where Fonda performed the bookkeeping and office duties.

Fonda is preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Earl Jordan; her daughter, Karen Robbins; her grandson, Ty Jordan; and her three brothers, Larry Grasty, Roy Grasty and Harold Grasty.

Fonda is survived by one daughter, Kayla Jordan; two sons, Ronny Jordan and wife, Jana and Todd Jordan and wife, Cindy; One son-in-law, Wayne Robbins; eight grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.

Pallbearers will be: Robert Robbins, Ronny (R.J.) Jordan, Weston Jordan, Preston Jordan, Zane Payne, and Wade Brand.
