Francisca Nevarez Barrera, 93, of Odessa passed away January 14, 2017, in Odessa.

Rosary will be read Tuesday, January 17, 2017 at 6:00 p.m., at Sunset Memorial Funeral Chapel.

Mass of Christian Burial will be Wednesday, January 18, 2017 at 10:00 a.m., at Santa Rosa Catholic Church in Pecos, TX. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery in Pecos. TX.

Francisca was born on October 13, 1923 in La Haciendita, TX to Concepcion Nevarez and Blandina Guerrero. She married E. V. Barrera in Ojinaga, Mexico. He passed away in December 1991. Francisca lived many years in Pecos, TX until 2010 when she moved to Odessa, TX. Francisca was loved by many and will be tremendously missed by all.

Francisca is survived by her son Sigifredo Barrera of Irving, 3 daughters Aracely Rodriguez of Midland, Carmen Mendoza of Pecos and Rosie Leija of Odessa; 3 brothers Genaro Nevarez of Mesa, AZ, Fidencio Nevarez of Ojinaga, Mexico, and Arturo Nevarez of Odessa, 9 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.
