Fred Boyce

Fred H. Boyce, age 84, went to see our Lord Jesus early Wednesday morning, December 8, 2010 in Odessa.

He was born October 2, 1926 in Achille, Oklahoma. He and his wife Dorotha Byrd were married July 31, 1949 in Martinez, California. Fred served our country in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a member of Faith Community Baptist Church. Fred retired from the Western Company Well Servicing and enjoyed a store in West Odessa called Freds Fair Deals where he sold tools and many other items.

Preceding him in death was a daughter, Deborah Boyce at age 4 months his parents, Lynn D. Boyce and mother Beulah three sisters, Oleta, Juanita and Polly and brother Lynn Boyce, Jr.


Survivors include his wife, Dorotha D. Boyce of Odessa his daughters, Cheril and husband Donnie Shulte of Antioch, California, Brenda Spinks of Hot Springs, Arkansas and Nina and husband Bob Ochs of Hoisington, Kansas his son, Fred H. Boyce, Jr. and wife LeAnn of Lake Proctor, Texas 10 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be 57PM Friday, December 10, 2010 at Sunset Funeral Home. Funeral services are scheduled for 11:00 AM Saturday, December 11, 2010 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel with Brother Wayne Shelton officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
