Freddie Martin

Freddie Lee (Red) Martin, age 88, of Odessa, TX left his loving family to be with his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on March 3, 2016 at his residence.

Freddie Lee Martin was born on January 10, 1928 to Freddie and Verdy Martin in Odessa, TX. He married Mary Frances on June 11, 1948 and together they had five children.

Freddie enjoyed traveling with his travel club and playing board games. He liked fishing and gardening.

Freddie is preceded in death by his loving wife of 59 years, Mary Frances; four brothers, Roland, Bill, Bob and Kenneth; son in law, Mike Franklin and two grandchildren.

He is survived by his five children, Mary Stucks and her husband, Jerry of Brady, TX, William Martin and his wife, Kathy, Bert Martin, Sue Franklin, Clinton Martin of Odessa, TX; brother, Denny Martin of Andrews, TX; eight grandchildren, fourteen great grandchildren and three great great grandchildren.

Funeral Services will be at 1:00 pm, Monday, March 7, 2016 at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Doyle Clifton officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
