Gale Cradoct Lyon, 61, beloved wife, daughter, mother, grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully in her home in Fort Worth, Texas on March 9, 2021.
Gale was born to Herman Clair and Merbia Clair on July 27, 1959 in Odessa, Texas. She attended Permian High School and Odessa College.
She is survived by her husband, Jerry Lyon; son, Billy Dirden; daughter, April Cradoct; stepdaughter, Tascha Timmons and husband Lundy; stepson, David Lyon; mother, Merbia Clair; granddaughters, Kurstyn Cradoct, Brittney Rucker, and Morgan McNutt; three grandsons; four step-grandchildren; sisters, Sharon Ayars and husband Rick, Pamela Brown, and Kristi Clair; brothers, Herman Clair, Jr. and wife Carolyn, and Donny Clair; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her father, Herman Clair, Sr.; sister, Karen Clair; one grandson; and grandparents, Henry and Bessie Barnes, and Heser Clair.
Celebration of Life will be held at 1:00 PM, Thursday, March 18, 2021 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home Chapel.
The family would like to give special thanks to the doctors who took care of Gale: Dr. Bibas Reddy, Dr. Yadro Ducic, Dr. Paul Harris, Dr. Dale White, Jr., Dr. Muhammad Siddiqi, as well as the amazing Hospice staff of Fort Worth.
Memorials may be donated to American Cancer Society or Hospice Fort Worth.
