Gary Eggleston

Gary Don Eggleston, 48, of Odessa, passed away on August 13, 2016 in Odessa.

Gary was born in Odessa, Texas to Benny and Joan Egglestnon on October 12, 1967. He attended Odessa High School. Gary worked at Basic Energy Services for 20 years. He was loved, respected, and a mentor to many people in the oil patch.

Gary is preceded in death by the love of his life, his wife, Anita Eggleston and his parents, Benny and Joan Eggleston.

Eggleston is survived by his long-time partner, Tracee Haddock as well as his children who loved him dearly: Misty Kennedy and husband Samuel, Shaun Weldy, Allison Moore, John Michael Moore and wife Nykky, Dylan Hieb, Rebeckah Hieb, and his "Grasshopper" Afton Hieb; and his grandchildren: Nathaniel Moore, Phoebe Kennedy, Skylar Barry; Melody, Xain, and William Cardwell, Kevyn and Corbin Crowley, and an infinite amount of extended family and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6-8pm Friday, August 19, 2016 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home.

Funeral Services will be held at 1pm Saturday, August 20, 2016 at Sunset Memorial Funeral Home with Pastor Clydel Chapman of Northside Baptist Church officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Memorial Gardens.
