Gary Lee Ford, 51 of Odessa died January 7, 2010, he was our son, loving husband, caring father and papaw and a dear loving friend. He was born November 19, 1958 in Monahans to Jr. and Patsy Ford. He attended Sudderth Elementary and Huddleston Jr. High School and was a 1977 graduate of Monahans High School. Mr. Ford earned an associate degree in Applied Science from Odessa College in 1979. Gary met Stephanie Ann Holmans in Kermit in August 1975 they were married in Monahans on June 5, 1980. He joined Texas Commerce Bank Data Center in December 1979 and worked there till 1996. In December 1996 he joined West Texas State Bank Data Center where he was currently the Data Manager. Gary met Stephanie in Kermit at a square dance, they continued to enjoy square dancing till they started their family, he enjoyed his family, friends, fishing, traveling, gardening, bowling, and watching his favorite football teams OHS, Texas Tech, and the Dallas Cowboys.
He is preceded in death by his grandparents George and Ione Hubbard Wade and John and Allie Mae Ford.
He is survived by his wife Stephanie and his children Dustin Shayne Ford and wife Crystal, Logan Chase Ford and wife Rayonna, Lacey Valene Sutphen and husband Quincy and his grandchildren Donovan Layne Ford, Kolton Allen Sutphen and Malakai Gage Sutphen all of Odessa his parents Jr. and Patsy Ford of Monahans brother Bobby R. Ford of Burnett, and sister Lugene Leek and husband Mike of Monahans nieces Sandy Roberson, Brandy OKeeffe, and Summer Irwin nephews Don Hoover, Albert Herrington, and Mason Holmans greatnephew and nieces Kamry Gray, Cayden Hoover and Reagan Hoover parentsinlaw George and Johnnie Holmans of New Braunfels sisterinlaw Debbie Abbott and husband Alan of Zanesville, Ohio brotherinlaw Glenn Holmans and wife Katrina of Frankston, TX.
Pallbearers will be Randall Blau, Lee White, Ronnie White, Buzz Johnson, Dennis Harper, Whit Parks, Keith Kimberlin, and Mike Gardner.
