Gayle Burnett

Gayle Burnett, age 70, of Odessa, passed away on February 19, 2017 in Odessa.

Gayle was born April 16, 1946 to L.E. and Maggie Stokes in Santa Fe, NM. She moved to Amarillo where she met and married the love of her life Ronald Eugene Burnett on September 27, 1967. She and Ron moved to Midland in the 70's. She was a homemaker, mother and true follower of the PTL Network. A very faithful Christian woman who loved the Lord and anyone that she met. She was a true friend and will be truly missed by all that knew and loved her.

She is preceded in death by her husband Ron Burnett, her parents, 1 brother and 1 sister.

She is survived by her sons Ron Burnett of Gardendale, Greg Burnett and wife Kevin Ann of Odessa, daughter Ronda Rose and husband Harold of Odessa, brother Robert Stokes, sister Anice Odom and husband Mac of Lubbock, TX, 7 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.

Memorial service will be held Thursday February 23, 2017 at 1pm at Sunset Funeral Home Chapel.

Honorary Pall Bearers will be Les Gray, Jim Crawford, Cody Clark, Thomas Clark, Zack Burnett and Taylor Gwyn.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to The American Cancer Society.
